Thief Hall is your perfect blank canvas wedding barn venue in North Yorkshire for you to put your own unique stamp on your wedding day, choosing your caterers, entertainment, additional décor and anything you like with absolutely no restrictions.

You gain access to the venue the day before your wedding celebration from 10 am until the day after, offering you both the chance to relax with family, guests, and friends, making your three day wedding ceremony truly magical!

Planning your marriage ceremony may seem daunting, which is why we offer our wedding coordinators who can share their valuable experience with you and are on hand 24/7 for your every need. Your wedding coordinator will be with you throughout your wedding planning journey from the second you reserve your date to meetings on site whenever you need and offering comforting support throughout your journey to your wedding stay and beyond.

Our pricing includes the full venue and Bridal Suite with the option to add on our additional accommodation if you would like to! There are absolutely NO hidden costs and everything is included from power, Wi-Fi, heating, toilets, parking, outside land, our wedding coordinators, master of ceremony, the fully stocked bar, bar staff, tables, chairs, and even linen.

Thief Hall wedding venue is set in beautiful surroundings with stunning views of the North Yorkshire countryside and sunsets like no other for the perfect backdrop for your once in a lifetime wedding photographs creating lifetime memories.

If you live in the surrounding areas of Darlington, Harrogate, Ripon, Thirsk,
York or anywhere in North Yorkshire then Thief Hall is a beautiful Barn Wedding Venue in a rural location and beautiful views.

Wedding Ceremony

If a church ceremony isn’t for you or you would like to keep your wedding celebrations in one place you can get married here at Thief Hall with us too! We are licensed for ceremonies in the venue and you also have the option of an outside ceremony if you want to say ‘I do’ in the Yorkshire Countryside…

We will be there to support you before and during the ceremony and can control your music through our built in sound system. Then create the perfect confetti throw with stunning views as your backdrop.

Venue

Your perfect blank canvas venue to do exactly as you please. We pride ourselves in offering you a place to put your stamp on your wedding without looking over your shoulder. We encourage a party and fun atmosphere without a worry in the world. With no finish times or stipulations you can decide on your every direction with only support from your venue. The luxury accommodation is included and as you have exclusive use of the venue there is no one else to worry about. Your day, your way with a little helping hand from us.

WeddingBreakfast

We are passionate about every couple creating their very own bespoke wedding which is why catering is not a part of the venue. You can choose any caterers for your wedding and evening food. This means you can stick to a classic 3 course meal, or venture out to a wilder cuisine, Afternoon Tea, street vans, a BBQ or something else within your imagination.

Thief Hole Barn

Whether you’re looking to take some time out with family, find the perfect setting to celebrate an occasion, are looking for an adventure break or a corporate retreat, Thief Hole Barn provides a stunning location. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the courtyard, spread out on the huge L-shaped sofa in front of the wood burning stove and enjoy the calm and serenity of country living.

Swift Nick Cottage

Offering spacious living for up to four adults and two children, Swift Nick is the perfect hideaway for any family or group. Easy access and a sloped ramp make Swift Nick ideal for those requiring versatile, easy living in an idyllic ground floor cottage. Whether you want to cosy up by the fire in Winter or enjoy the sunshine on the terrace in Summer, Swift Nick offers a luxurious holiday home away from home in the tranquillity of the countryside.

Turpin Cottage

Nestle yourself away in this beautifully converted cottage and enjoy splendid views of the North Yorkshire countryside. A haven of countryside charm and cottage comfort, Turpin Cottage is a fantastic location for some well-deserved time out for you and your pet. With a spacious feel and high beamed ceilings you cannot fail to appreciate its original character.

Fawkes Cottage

This sensitively renovated barn conversion oozes charm and character whilst providing contemporary home from home living for two adults and children. The perfect retreat for a romantic break, family holiday, or countryside escape, Fawkes Cottage balances five star luxury with everyday comforts including your very own private hot tub!

Millington House

The heart of the six cottages with dining facilities for up to 20 guests. This cottage is perfect for any celebration, party, family get-together or just a group wishing to get away from it all.

Bateman Byre

This one bedroom cottage is named after the Yorkshire witch Mary Bateman and with the original character of the barn you cannot fail to appreciate the old with the new. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and every other item you would expect. Why not enjoy watching the sunset from the hot tub!
