AT THIEF HALL

Plan how every outfit reaches the venue, where it hangs and when it will be steamed before the wedding morning begins. Bess's Bridle Suite has overhead gold bars for dresses, seven vanities, a skylight and privacy from the connected venue. Day-before access gives the wedding party time to prepare clothing, shoes and accessories instead of leaving every task for the morning.

THE DRESS ROOM

Hang dresses above the working space.

Gold ceiling bars in Bess's Bridle Suite are designed for hanging dresses. The magazine describes dresses being steamed the night before, while shoes and accessories are prepared as part of the arrival day. Seven vanity positions sit below a full-width skylight, with artificial light, USB charging and heat-safe holders for hair tools.

The suite connects to the venue but remains private, so the wedding party can prepare without showing the dress to guests in the main rooms. The vanity layout and skylight are visible in current photography. Confirm how many garments need hanging and whether any locked overnight storage is required.

THE WINDOW

Preparation starts before the wedding morning.

Exclusive access begins at 10am on the day before the wedding. Guests arrive, settle in and decorate, while the couple has four nights included across the wider stay. Six cottages and six pods provide around 50 fixed bed places, with the couple responsible for allocating them.

Bess's Bridle Suite uses key-code entry, so stylists can let themselves in, and parking is directly outside. The magazine's typical timeline begins hair and makeup at 6am, allowing roughly one hour per person and one and a half hours for the bride. That timing is a planning example, not a fixed appointment list.

THE MOVE

The ceremony rooms stay close to preparation.

The main venue is on one level from the car park through ceremony, bar and dining. Bess's Bridle Suite is connected to that venue, so the move from final preparation to either the Big End or Small End does not require a separate journey across the estate.

The Big End has the longer aisle, while the Small End offers a closer room. A clothing supplier does not need to prescribe one silhouette for either space; the useful venue information is the distance, privacy and timing around the entrance, all of which can be seen during a viewing.
