Lauren & Martin

Melissa Field covered Lauren and Martin's August 2025 wedding at Thief Hall. Wooden benches faced the black horseshoe arch for the outdoor ceremony, with blue, orange and white flowers on the arch and coloured ribbons along the front benches. The couple later passed between their guests through a cloud of confetti in the same open setting.

Inside the Hall, long white tables and clear chairs stood beneath wooden beams dressed with ivy and fairy lights. Layers of pink, purple, teal, green, orange and silver fringe crossed the ceiling. Bright taper candles, coloured glass bottles, small flower arrangements and green stationery ran along the tables. A neon ‘Mr & Mrs’ sign stood behind the top table.

Floral shoes, turquoise ring boxes, orange and purple paper pieces, a bouquet tied with hot-pink ribbon and bright buttonholes carried the colour into the smaller details. Lauren and Martin also spent time beneath a mature tree beside round hay bales, on the tree-lined approach and in the fields beyond Thief Hall. The venue's trees, hay bales and open ground remained part of the wedding throughout the day.
