Thief Hall

THE THREE-DAY FORMAT

How three-day wedding hire works.

THE THREE-DAY FORMAT

Exclusive hire runs from 10am the day before until 12 noon the day after. Arrive with your guests, hold the wedding without another event behind it, then keep the fourth night for yourselves.

10AM, THE DAY BEFORE

Arrive with the people who are staying.

Exclusive access begins at 10am the day before the wedding. Guests can arrive with the couple, settle into the on-site accommodation and help decorate the venue. The Hall, bar and lounge, courtyard, cottages and pods are all part of the same wedding village.

The night before can be a gathering in the bar area or a more intimate meal and drinks in the cottage courtyard. Five cottages have hot tubs. Games, books and films are there for a quieter evening, while outfits can be ironed or steamed and shoes and accessories set out for the morning.

Speeches can be practised, and Thief Hall asks for a copy in advance to support the timings of the wedding day. The aim is not to add another formal event. It is to give the wedding a calm first evening instead of beginning with a rushed arrival on the ceremony morning.

THE WEDDING DAY

A full day without a handover at either end.

The makeup room is connected to the venue and has key-code access, so chosen hair and makeup teams can let themselves in. Seven vanities, dress rails and the light from the sunroof support the morning while guests are already nearby.

The typical Thief Hall timeline moves from the morning preparations to a ceremony, reception, couple photographs, speeches, the wedding breakfast and evening guests. It is an example, not a fixed schedule. Live bands, DJs and the couple's own playlist are all welcome, with no sound limiter.

Evening food starts as the evening guests arrive because they arrive hungry. A food van can park at the back of the venue and serve into the lounge, keeping the food and the new arrivals on the same route.

The bar serves until 2am. After that, the couple can use their own drinks for a later finish. The party has no venue curfew, and there is no second wedding waiting to take over the spaces that night.

UNTIL 12 NOON

The guests do not disappear straight after breakfast.

The hire continues until 12 noon the day after the wedding. That leaves time to see the guests who stayed on site before they leave, rather than asking everyone to clear out first thing in the morning.

The behind-the-scenes content captured by the Thief Hall team is delivered the following morning. The couple can relive parts of the wedding with friends and family while they are still together on the estate.

THE FOURTH NIGHT

Then the wedding village goes quiet.

After the guests leave, the fourth night is for the couple alone. It is part of their stay, not an extra public event and not another night of guest accommodation to allocate.

That final night is what makes the three-day format feel complete. The couple has arrived before the wedding, spent the day and following morning with their people, and then has time to take it all in before leaving Thief Hall.
