THE HIRE ITSELF
Start by comparing the same length of stay.
Thief Hall is a three-day exclusive-use hire, not a single room for an afternoon. Venue access begins at 10am the day before the wedding and runs until 12 noon the day after. One wedding uses the estate at a time.
The couple has four nights on site, with the final night alone after the guests leave. Six cottages and six timber pods provide 50 fixed bed places, with more possible using additional beds. The Stay page records the sleeping plan, but no accommodation price is published.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
A venue figure is only useful beside its inclusions.
The hire includes indoor and outdoor ceremony options, the makeup room, planning support, coordination on the day, a toastmaster and social-media content creation. The event spaces, outside land, heating, power, toilets and parking are part of the venue provision.
Tables, chairs, linen, glasses and napkins are included, as are the sound system, wireless microphones, WiFi, fairy lights, festoon lighting and a set of styling items. Cake cutting is free. The client FAQ states that there are no safety deposits, cleaning charges or hidden extras.
WHAT THE COUPLE CHOOSES
Catering and suppliers sit outside the venue package.
Catering is not included. Couples can choose any caterer, invite food vans or use a caterer who works from the venue kitchen. All other suppliers are welcome without a required list.
The bar is stocked and staffed by Thief Hall. There is no corkage charge, although a service charge applies and is listed in the pricing pack. Keeping those boundaries clear makes it possible to compare a Thief Hall figure with another venue without treating two different offers as though they were the same.
BOOKING TERMS
The payment schedule is confirmed.
A chosen date can be held for seven days. A 20 percent deposit then secures it, and the remaining venue balance is due two months before the wedding.
Those terms are confirmed and can be planned around now. Current wedding hire prices are available directly from Thief Hall on enquiry.
