Thief Hall

CATERING

Can you bring your own wedding caterer?

CATERING

Yes. Thief Hall has no required caterer list and no supplier restriction. Caterers can use the kitchen, food vans are welcome, and the stocked bar remains with the venue.

YOUR CATERER

No list, and no venue-imposed style of food.

Couples are free to choose any wedding caterer. Thief Hall does not require a supplier from a fixed list, and catering is not bundled into the venue hire. The food can be planned around the people at the wedding rather than around a package chosen by the building.

That freedom covers the format too. A caterer can use the venue kitchen, and food vans are welcome. A seated wedding breakfast, informal service and evening food can therefore be discussed with the people preparing it, while the venue team concentrates on the spaces and the running of the day.

WHAT THE VENUE PROVIDES

The room does not arrive empty of essentials.

Tables, chairs, linen, glasses and napkins are included. Five-foot round tables seat up to ten. Six-foot by two-foot rectangular tables seat four on each side, and the ghost chiavari chairs come with the couple's choice of seat-pad colour.

Cake cutting is included without an extra charge. The venue also provides power, heating, toilets and parking, along with the sound system and wireless microphones used for speeches. Those items can be separated from the caterer's quote instead of being paid for twice.

THE BAR BOUNDARY

Food is flexible. The bar stays Thief Hall's.

The venue operates a fully stocked and staffed bar, with glassware supplied. Cash and card are accepted.

There is no corkage charge. A service charge applies instead and is set out in the pricing pack. The bar serves until 2am. After that, the couple can use their own drinks for a later finish, because the end of bar service is not a curfew on the party.

BUILDING THE BRIEF

The useful questions belong with the caterer.

Ask the caterer how they want to use the kitchen, what they need for serving, when the food vans or team will arrive and who clears their own equipment. The venue's included tables, linen, glassware and cake cutting can then be removed from any duplicated hire list.

Thief Hall supports one wedding at a time across the three-day hire. The couple can bring the caterer they want without giving up the staffed venue bar or the practical equipment already included in the Hall.
