Its hard to compare venues, every venue is different. We pride ourselves on our unique selling points and we don’t think we shout about them enough! So here’s just some of the factors that make Thief hall incomparable.
No finishing times
Our bar is open till 2am! But that doesn’t meant the party needs to stop at 2am, you can keep the party going for as long as you like. We absolutely love a party with a fun atmosphere and the last thing we would want to do is kill that vibe, we want you to have the best time! We would never kick you or your guests out. There’s not many places that would allow this in fact most bars shut at 11.30pm, the party’s only just started!
2 coordinators on your wedding day
Throughout your wedding journey our coordinators are there for you 24/7, anything you need is not a problem and we are more than happy to help. On your wedding day you get 2 coordinators (this is including the coordinator who has been assisting you throughout your wedding journey) and a full team of staff to run the bar, help with crowd control and to look after you and your guests. You barely have to lift a finger!
No Security deposits
We don’t take security deposits. We understand weddings can turn into quite a party and that’s how it should be! We love seeing people enjoy themselves and having a party, and if the odd thing gets broken we take this as a sign of a good time.
No hidden fees
We have absolutely no hidden fees!! Other venues might charge you for using their easels, sweet cart, or any of their decorations. Well we wouldn’t dare! If we have it, it’s yours to use free of charge. For those wanting an outdoor wedding other venues might charge to move it inside if it rains. Not at Thief Hall, here if you are having an outdoor ceremony we will always set up inside even if there’s just a slim chance of bad weather so that you can make the decision on the day with no extra charge involved.
Free Choice
At Thief Hall we are a blank canvas, therefore it’s up to you who you get to cater, decorate or any other suppliers you want to book. We don’t get commission from any of our suppliers so there’s no one we “recommend” but there’s people we can suggest if you are struggling as we’ve worked with a lot of suppliers. At some venues they get commission from certain suppliers therefore this can put the prices up for you and can charge up to 20% more! Your wedding is for you and you should have free choice on who you want to help make your big day so special.

Exclusive use
For your wedding the venue and accommodation is completely yours, you can book as little or as much of the accommodation as you need, what you don’t use we keep empty. Our couples get to stay for 4 nights (Thursday – Monday weekend wedding, or Sunday-Thursday for a midweek). We know how overwhelming it can be which is why we give you a night just the two of you before guests arrive the next day and also a night after the wedding to have some down time after celebrating all weekend. Guests can stay the night before the wedding and the night of, this means no one needs to stress about being on time as they are already here the morning of! We don’t churn weddings out we like to spend time with each couple and their guests and make them feel welcome and part of the Thief Hall family! which is why why typically only have one wedding a week and sometimes one weekday wedding.
Hopefully this blog has established just how unique we are and we could go on and tell you more about what sets us aside from other venues but we want to keep some of it secret as we hope this is something you might get to see for yourselves. We truly believe we are incomparable and are so proud of the team at Thief Hall that make us so unique.
