Thief Hall is a blank canvas venue which you can truly put your own stamp on. You can choose your own caterers, entertainment, additional decor and anything else with absolutely no restrictions. Food vans are welcome or caterers can use our kitchen space.
We have tried to think of everything you could possibly need for your wedding and included everything with zero hidden costs. The venue will be dressed with fairy lights, festoon lighting and more. We offer a flower wall, the arch, love letters and fake flowers for extra decoration all included. There are easels, props and more not to mention the more obvious items such as tables, chairs, linen and glassware. Our coordinators are also included meaning from the moment you book someone is there for you 24/7 and a full team of staff will be there for you on the day.

Arrive the day before your wedding with your guests, settle in and decorate the venue as you wish & enjoy the night before gettogether. Wake up the next morning to your amazing wedding day and party into the early hours with the next day to 12 noon to enjoy your guests’ company before they leave you for your forth night and time to yourselves and take it all in.
Yes, the venue is entirely yours for the 3 days of your wedding
Yes, we have 6 cottages and 6 glamping pods sleeping up to 60 guests in total plus more on sofa/put up beds. There is so many local hotel options with Thirsk and Northallerton both only 5 miles away.
Yes with the 6 cottages there are plenty of wedding morning options.
You arrive two days before your wedding day ready to decorate the morning before your big day. All of the setting up will be done prior to your arrival and and the change over during the day is all done by the Thief Hall Team on your day.
Extremely, you can do anything on your day to make it your own and we will help and support you.
Yes when you visit make sure to take a picture of our bar prices which are kept as low as we can. The bar closes at 2am and following this you can consume your own drinks for a later finish. We don’t charge corkage, only a service charge which you can find in our pricing pack. Yes absolutely both cash and cards are accepted including AExpress.

Yes all allowed with no restrictions in the venue. We have pet friendly allocated accommodation.
We take the cake, slice it and put it out for your guests free of charge.
We don’t have these as they encourage the guests out of the party to sit outside however if you really want to bring your own this is fine.
We recommend dried real flowers for confetti which is kinder to the environment, this does not include dissolvable paper confetti. Fireworks are extremely disruptive to our local farms as we are in a rural location not to mention the risk of field fires in the summer months meaning we do discourage them but if fireworks are something you could not see your wedding without we would contact our local residence and work with them to make this happen for you.
The round tables are 5ft and seat up to 10 guests and the rectangle tables are 6ft x 2ft and seat up to 4 on one side. We only have our ghost chiavari wedding chairs however you can choose the colour of your seat pads.
Once you have decided Thief Hall is for you, the date of your choice can be held for 7 days. Following this a 20% deposit is required to secure the date. The final balance is then due 2 months before your big day.
